Does Nevada accept online CCW classes?
UPDATE: As of 4/1/2020, Metro is now allowing CCW classes to continue with social distancing. Las Vegas Metro PD is now accepting online CCW applications through it’s new “ECCW” process.
What distance do you qualify for CCW?
The only requirement is DISTANCE (3, 5, 7 yards). As of 10/1/2013 you no longer need to qualify with a semi-auto and revolver or specific gun. You only have to qualify with one gun. By qualifying with any one gun, you are permitted to carry any gun.
How long is the CCW class in Nevada?
Residents and non-residents are required to take a class (minimum 4 hour of class-time) and successfully pass a shooting qualification. The Nevada CCW permit is valid for 5 years. Once your permit expires, you cannot carry concealed until you receive your new permit. There is no grace period.
What is the shooting test for CCW?
A total of 50 rounds are fired during the course of the qualification test. A score of 70%, or 175 points of a possible 250, is required to pass. The target used is a B-27 which is a human-shaped silhouette target measuring 45 by 24 inches.

Each student must complete the 4 hours of classroom instruction and pass the written and shooting tests to receive the LTC-100 Certificate of Training. The written test consists of 25 true/false and multiple choice questions. The test is not hard if a person pays attention in class.
